Executive Bios
Tony C. Hubbard, Founder/GM/CEO
Tony has been in tax preparation since 1996, after graduating from Wingate University in 1995; he established his firm in 2007. He specializes in individual tax preparation. Tony leverages tax strategies to promote business and personal tax planning to help his clients achieve their tax needs. Tony received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 1995 from Wingate University.

Franz A. Coffie, Tax Office Manager
Franz is a product of Union County Public Schools. After graduating from Monroe High School in 1987, he attended Livingstone University. One of his favorite hobbies is playing golf with his father and friends. After working numerous years at Bloomsburg, Inc., Conbraco Industries, and Teleldyne Allvac Franz joined The Tax Operation, LLC firm and became the office manager in 2010. He has spent the last several years as an employee utilizing his diverse background focusing on direct supervision and training of office personnel, employee payroll, transmission and troubleshooting of individual federal and state tax returns, maintenance of taxpayers’ refund checks. He is truly an asset to The Tax Operation, LLC and staff.

Doris B. Williams, Check Office Manager
Doris has been manager of The Tax Operation Check Office since 2010. Doris graduated from from Forest Hills High School and has continued her education at Grantham University. Doris has been very instrumental in the quality control, procurement, and security of client files. Additionally, she facilitates the distribution of taxpayers refund checks, direct supervision and training of office personnel.

​Laura Allen “L.A.”, Receptionist
Laura attended Winchester up until her 10th grade year, in 1966 the school was burned down. This was during the time of segregation and integration. Laura graduated from Monroe High School in 1968. Laura worked at Union Regional Medical, currently Atrium Healthcare, as a histotechnician for 45 years from where she would go on to retire from in 2017. A histotechnician is a clinical laboratory technician who prepares body tissue samples for examination by a pathologist. After working numerous years in the medical field, Laura joined The Tax Operation, LLC firm and became the secretary of The Tax Operation in 2010. She is generally the first point of contact via phone or in person to our clients.

Timothy R. Harrell, Network and Data Security Coordinator
​Timothy R. Harrell has served as our Network and Data Security Coordinator since 2008. A native North Carolinian, Timothy graduated from Monroe High School where he played football and later served as a computer technician and football coach. He attended Elizabeth City State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Business Administration. Timothy also completed a Master of Science in Information Management Systems with a concentration in IT Security from Bellevue University. With over 20 years of experience in computer hardware, networking and security, Tim has become proficient in his field. The Tax Operation knows the significance of protecting our clients’ confidential personal and financial information. Tim’s experience in IT Security and Computer Networking has allowed him to implement data security configurations and guidelines designed to protect the accessibility, confidentiality, and integrity of our computer network using the latest and most up to date software and hardware technologies.
